Community housing associations tracked water usage manually through meter readings and spreadsheet reconciliation. Readings were collected inconsistently, data entry errors created billing disputes, and there was no real-time visibility into consumption patterns. The system needed to automate meter reading collection, centralize water usage data, and provide property managers with accurate consumption records.
Outcome / Result
Automated water meter data collection from installed hardware directly into centralized database. Property managers gained real-time access to consumption data through admin panel showing properties, units, and historical usage. System eliminated manual data entry and reduced billing disputes by providing accurate, timestamped meter readings. Platform deployed and actively used by US-based community housing client.
